HISTORY

Current

In the last couple of years I have a history of growing business for revolutionary products at great speed by optimizing the process to allow for the best user experiences. This includes driving AI focused platform and product teams that stemmed from incubation research projects. These teams consisted of heavy data science and light shipping product expertise. I was able to drive and grow all teams to a successful launch. Products include Customer Service Insights, Power Virtual Agent, Customer Insights, Market Insights and a private preview for a NL Search feature. Each team has grown by 75% in design resources including Design, Research Content Strategy, UX Experience Analytics and Documentation. I drove the process for user experience reviews (specs) and tracking to allow for UX to own their initiatives which is now an initiative being driven across all 55 apps in Dynamics.

CRM experience

For 5 years I managed the Dynamics Customer Engagement UX team managing a mix of research and design. This includes a 20+ team in 7 remote locations. I drove the user experience across 6 products including a new platform and a common controls library built in 1 year. Our vision was to delight our customers with seamless user experiences weaving together great product design, just-in-time information, positive customer touch points that span the entire customer lifecycle. Specific goals included creating unified experiences across devices and platforms, keep it simple, fast and fluid and unify with OneMicrosoft principals. These goals continue to drive all user experience designs and decisions.

Prior to CRM

I've have a great history in Microsoft including 9 promotions, 10 managers, a million reorgs and strategy docs. I have been able to explore multiple job titles including graphic designer, interaction designer, PM, researcher and manager.

Pre-Microsoft

Prior to Microsoft I dabbled in graphic design at a Book Company, Engineering and Public Transit. I enjoyed learning about how to create catalogs, presentation materials and public facing marketing. I left these jobs to find design mentors that I could learn from and to understand the difference between design and user experience.
